Subaru is known for the way that it cares for the Earth. Even its vehicles are built in a U.S. assembly plant that is ISO 9001 certified, creates zero-landfill, and is named as a Backyard Wildlife Habitat by the National Wildlife Federation, but the Subaru Company takes it even further.
If you’re a fan of the great outdoors, as many Subaru owners are, you’ll love this recent news. Subaru is sharing its zero landfill experience with the National Park Service. There are 58 national parks in the United States and every year, visitors to these parks create over 100 million pounds of garbage.
